Fight or Flight by Michaels, Fern (author.)
Nestled in her mountain retreat, bestselling author Katherine Winston, creator of the "Girls with Unusual Powers" series, cherishes her anonymity. The small town knows her only as the reclusive woman on the mountain, a solitude she cultivated after a personal tragedy shattered her once-full life. Her only companions are her two loyal dogs and online reader communities.
But when a fan appears to be in danger, Katherine is compelled to help, forcing her to confront her long-held fears. She can't shake the unsettling feeling that she's being watched, and the presence is growing closer. To find answers, rebuild trust, and embrace a new beginning, Katherine must finally leave her self-imposed exile.

Frank Lloyd Wright : The Complete Works by
Pfeiffer, Bruce Brooks. (Author) Wright, Frank Lloyd 1867-1959 (Added Author)
Part of an exhaustive three-volume monograph featuring all of Wright's 1,100 designs, both realized and unrealized. This volume covers the postwar years and the "living architecture" period. Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) was one of the fathers of modern architecture; his work helped define the modern era, had a widespread cultural influence, and remains highly influential today, half a century after his demise. The mature work of his final years is the subject of this monograph, including all his designs from that period, even those never built.

In July, Kisha, Jasper County Library Manager, delivered Books for Babies bags to the Jasper County Health Department. These bags provide new parents/guardians, grandparents, and caregivers with a soft baby book and valuable information on the library resources and programs. We're excited to support initiatives like 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten and the PINES PLAY card, all aimed at fostering a love for reading and promoting literacy throughout our entire community. This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Georgia Public Library Service .
At the library, kids can read, learn, create, and connect! PINES critters can help young readers discover new books and become lifelong learners. Explore the updated PINES Kids catalog. If you’re a PINES library cardholder, you can find and reserve kids books from over 300 Georgia libraries. Search for dinosaurs, princesses, award winners, and more. Check it out at gapines.org/kpac
