In the Library
This past July, we were honored to host the powerful exhibit, "Witness to the Holocaust: WWII Veteran William Alexander Scott III."

The display shared the incredible story of a civil rights activist and U.S. Army photographer who served in a segregated battalion during World War II and documented the liberation of the Buchenwald concentration camp. It also offered a profound reflection on history by drawing parallels between the Jim Crow Laws in the United States and the Nuremberg Race Laws in Nazi-controlled Europe.

A special thank you to the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust and the Georgia Public Library Service for making this important and moving exhibit available to our community.
