Nicole "Nic" Monroe, 24, is stuck. Seven years after her sister Kasey vanished, Nic's life in Mishawaka, Indiana, is a dead-end, compounded by a recent DWI. Kasey's disappearance, mirroring another young woman named Jules Connor two weeks prior, remains a cold case, leaving Nic desperate to move on.

Then, Jules's sister, Jenna Connor, enters Nic's life, offering a glimmer of hope. Together, these two determined sisters embark on a gripping quest to find their missing loved ones. Their search will force them to confront dark truths and risk everything they've ever known, proving they'll stop at nothing to uncover what happened to their sisters.

Fleeing a crumbling life and scandal, famous actress Nicole Raven seeks refuge with her estranged best friend, Milly Beckett, at an idyllic English lakeside resort. Years ago, Nicole ghosted Milly, who's now navigating a painful divorce and single motherhood. Despite past hurt, Milly offers sanctuary.

Against the stunning Lake District backdrop, their strained reunion slowly evolves into profound revelations. Nicole glimpses a different life, and Milly finds hope beyond her divorce, even new romance. However, Nicole's hidden secret threatens both her future happiness and their fragile, rekindled bond. This poignant story explores friendship's beauty, forgiveness's power, and life's surprising turns.

Azalea Regional Welcomes New Library Manager

The Azalea Regional Library System is proud to announce Tara Coile as the new Library Manager of the Greene County Library in Greensboro, Georgia. Since joining the library in 2019 as a Library Assistant, she has consistently demonstrated energy, creativity, and a deep commitment to public service, all qualities that have made her a standout leader within the library system.

Tara holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Archaeology from the University of Georgia and brings a strong background in educational programming and community engagement to her work. Her experience developing programs at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis laid a foundation for creating meaningful, educational experiences that connect people to learning in new and inspiring ways. In her new position, she looks forward to expanding the library’s outreach and strengthening its role as a vital community resource. Her commitment to accessibility is also reflected in her designation as the Azalea Regional Library System’s Ambassador for the Georgia Library for the Blind and Print Disabled (GLS). This important role allows Tara to advocate and provide for patrons who need assistive technology and accessible reading materials due to blindness or whose physical abilities require the use of books and magazines in audio format or in braille.

She is also embedded in her community and serves as an active member of the Greene County Historical Society. Through her collaborations with Mrs. Mamie Lee Hillman, Director and Founder of the Greene County African-American Museum in Greensboro, their work has led to impactful library programming, including a recent screening of GPB’s The Great Migration and a community-led cleanup of a historic, slavery era African-American cemetery. These efforts have not only preserved local heritage but have also reconnected families with their ancestral roots.

Thanks to Tara’s determination, the Greene County Library was also recently awarded a Georgia Public Library Service LSTA Community Subgrant to fund a story stroll along the newly established Firefly Trail in Union Point, Georgia. This innovative project, Catching Tales on the Firefly Trail, will bring books and literacy-based activities into the heart of rural Greene County, expanding the library’s outreach and furthering its mission to promote lifelong learning whilst encouraging physical activity and community engagement.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her daughter and their lively household of animals, including a horse, a donkey, five cats, and two dogs, all of whom enjoy a good Storytime as much as she does.

Radon Kit Project: University of Georgia Extension partnership

This initiative raises awareness for radon safety across the state. The program promotes public health by providing electronic radon monitors for checkout at all Georgia public libraries.

Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer behind smoking and is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. It occurs naturally when uranium breaks down to form radon. Uranium is often found in high concentrations in granite rocky soils, as are common in northern Georgia counties. As radon is released into the soil, it can enter buildings through the foundation and well water, eventually building to dangerous levels.

By checking out a monitor with their library card, patrons can easily evaluate the radon levels in their living spaces, and determine if they are in danger. Radon can affect any home, regardless of construction or age. If found, radon can be fixed by installing a radon mitigation system.

Each radon kit comes with directions for use. Radon testing within a home takes two weeks. The kit has a circulation period of fourteen (14) days with two (2) renewals.

Did you know that with your Georgia public library card, you can check out a pass for free admission to the Mimms Museum of Technology and Art? From the race to space to supercomputing to the power you hold in your hands, explore the past while imagining the future of technology!

The Library Pass is good for four (4) admissions to the museum. The Pass is for general admission only and is not valid for special events or exhibits. The pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days. The pass may be renewed once. Holds are not allowed. For more info visit
