How do I apply for a digital card?

You can go online to the Georgia Public Library Service and click on the Apply For A PINES Library Card button. This will take you to the registration screen. From the drop down menu under Home Library, you will select Azalea Regional Library System and your home library. After filling out and submitting the form,  a temporary digital card number will be issued to you. This will allow you to access all of AZRLS’ online resources and services. You will then have 30 days to visit your home library with proper identification to convert your temporary digital card to  a free physical PINES library card. Patrons may not use their digital PINES card to check out physical materials. To learn more about how PINES benefits Georgians, click here.

Are you accepting donations?

How do I return borrowed library material/s?

During curbside service hours, we ask that materials are returned to the outside book deposit drop box. Staff are not permitted to take books for return during curbside service. If you have a DVD/CD to return, please contact the library during curbside service hours (above) and arrangements will be made for you to return materials directly to a staff member.

During TCOB hours, please return materials to the circulation desk book deposit at any member library. When the library is closed, you may return materials to the book deposit drop box conveniently located in the parking lot of any member library. Please do not place DVDs, CDs or other audio-video material in the book deposit drop box, as items placed on top of fragile cases may cause damage. If you need to return these items, please contact the library to arrange for a special return time or return during TCOB hours. You may also return PINES library books to any participating PINES library and the material/s will be routed to the home library.

How do I renew my library material/s?

You can renew your books from home at any time through the PINES online catalog. Most items can be renewed twice, but some items have stricter limitations. Contact your local member library for information regarding check out periods and specific information regarding borrowing and renewing items, or if you need assistance renewing materials.

How do I access my PINES library account?

You can access information about your library account, including what items you currently have checked out, what titles you have on hold, and any fines you owe to the library, by logging into your library account. You will need the barcode number on your PINES library card and PIN. Contact your local library during business hours if you need assistance.
